Founded in 2010 by Dr. G. Sasikumar, MSc, PhD (Microbiology), and Dr. Balasubramaniyan, MSc, PhD (Marine Biotechnology), Amazing Biotech Private Limited was established with the support of a team experts in aquaculture. Our name reflects our core values and the foundation of our success: a commitment to professional knowledge, dedication, integrity, and effective teamwork. We are focused on promoting sustainable aquaculture through robust research and development initiatives. Our team boasts over 25 years of experience in the aquaculture industry, with our R&D department comprised of technical specialists who have 25 to 30 years of expertise in probiotic and prebiotic formulations.
We take pride in being among the trailblazers in creating distinctive and innovative products, including PH reducers, based on probiotics salinity-tolerant, probiotic nitrite reducers, and herbal solutions for controlling vibrio with immune booster. Additionally, probiotics specifically designed for white feces disease, all of which excel in aquaculture. Our manufacturing facility is staffed by approximately 50 skilled workers and has a production capacity ranging from 800 to 1,000 tons annually.
Our factory, located in Thuthipet Village, Pondicherry, has undergone remarkable growth since we started. We began our venture in a modest 900 square feet premises and have expanded to an impressive 15,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Alongside this physical expansion, we have also significantly increased our manpower, instruments, and machinery over the years, enabling us to enhance our production capabilities and meet growing demand.
In 2018, we ventured into the shrimp hatchery industry, establishing two hatcheries along the Chennai coast at Marakkanam: AMAZE SHRIMP HATCHERIES and BEST AQUA STAR SHRIMP HATCHERIES. Our combined production capacity is approximately 800 million post-larvae (PL) annually, ensuring a steady supply of high-quality seeds marketed across India.
