• Larval Rearing System: Two independent larval rearing units, supported by algal tanks, provide a controlled environment for the development of healthy, robust shrimp seeds.

To maintain water quality, we employ a sophisticated water treatment system that includes slow and rapid sand filtration, ozone treatment, and effluent treatment tanks. These systems ensure compliance with the Coastal Aquaculture Authority (CAA) norms, promoting environmentally responsible operations by treating and disposing of used water safely.

BASS sources its Litopenaeus vannamei broodstock from globally renowned suppliers in the United States, including Shrimp Improvement Systems (SIS), SyAqua, Benchmark Genetics, Hendrix Genetics, Blue Genetics, and American Penaeid, Inc. These partnerships guarantee access to genetically superior broodstock, which forms the foundation of our high-quality seed production.

Quality is at the core of our operations. All seeds undergo rigorous testing using state-of-the-art quantitative Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) technology to screen for pathogens and ensure disease-free stock. Throughout the larval rearing process, we conduct regular quality checks to monitor seed health and prevent infections. Our commitment to quality extends to the use of premium feeds and probiotics, which support optimal growth and resilience in the larvae.
